Audiology Equipment Quote Checklist for Clinics
A useful equipment quote starts with the tests your clinic needs to perform and the way your team works. Use this checklist when comparing audiometers, tympanometers, OAE or ABR systems, real-ear measurement equipment and balance instruments. It helps DDX identify the configuration to discuss before you order.
1. Describe your testing and practice setting
Tell us whether you work in an audiology clinic, ENT practice, hospital, school or another setting. List the tests you need and whether the instrument will stay in one room or travel between locations. Include any requirements your team has already identified; DDX can discuss equipment options with you.
2. Identify the model and configuration
Share the manufacturer and model you are considering, or tell us you need help comparing options. Ask which features are standard and which require an optional license, accessory or different configuration. A model name alone may not identify everything included in a quote.
3. List transducers, probes and accessories
Confirm the headphones, insert earphones, bone conductor, probes and other accessories appropriate to the selected configuration. If you want to reuse existing equipment, send its manufacturer, model and part number so compatibility can be checked. Do not assume accessories are interchangeable.
4. Explain your computer and software workflow
For a computer-based instrument, identify your existing software and ask about current computer requirements, connections and integration options. Confirm who supplies the computer and which software or licenses are included. Compatibility should be checked for the exact version and configuration before ordering.
5. Include installation and service needs
Tell us your location, target date and any room or scheduling constraints. Ask what installation, training, calibration and ongoing support are included or quoted separately. Delivery timing and service availability need confirmation for your order.
