Deshler Diagnostics was founded on a legacy of excellence that began with industry trailblazer Lee Deshler, whose vision and expertise helped shape the audiology service landscape in Florida.

Lee Deshler’s Legacy

In the early 1970s, Lee Deshler established Tele-Acoustics Florida, pioneering on-site calibration services for audiometric and vestibular instrumentation. Drawing on his experience in acoustics during the early NASA space program at Cape Canaveral, Lee introduced a level of precision and convenience that transformed how audiology services were delivered across Florida. His commitment to quality and innovation became the foundation of a trusted, family-run operation.

A Family Tradition in Motion

Lee’s sons, Tim and Mike Deshler, carried his legacy forward — expanding the business and maintaining its trusted reputation throughout the state. In 2001, Lee’s grandson, Kevin Deshler, joined the company and spent over a decade working directly with clients and equipment, gaining hands-on experience across every aspect of the business. In 2014, the family business was sold, and Kevin continued working through the transition until 2016.

Broadening Industry Experience

From 2016 to 2019, Kevin served in a key role at ASI / Otometrics, where he expanded his technical expertise and developed a deeper understanding of diagnostic instrumentation and clinical workflow. This experience shaped his vision for a service-driven, customer-first approach to supporting audiology professionals.

The Birth of Deshler Diagnostics

In 2019, Kevin founded Deshler Diagnostics with the goal of returning to the family values that had made the original business successful: integrity, responsiveness, and unmatched technical service. Today, Deshler Diagnostics is proud to be Florida’s go-to source for Inventis and PATH Medical instrumentation, while offering comprehensive calibration and repair services for the full spectrum of audiometric and vestibular equipment.
